Select your TV from the drop-down list next to HDMI, below where it says "Select a device for sound output". Middle of the window select your TV where it says "Play sound effects through:". Be sure you are on the Sound Effects tab. There are 3 tabs in the window Sound Effects, Output and Input. leave all other settings at their default values. Select the desired resolution for your TV (probably 1080i). You should now only see 2 tabs, Display and Color. Bottom left of the window tick "Mirror Displays". If you purchased an iWires cable direct from Apple the instructions are in the printed booklet that comes in the packaging. (if your on windows 7 then i guess just chose something else) if that doesn't work go to this worked on a previous version of windows and click windows 7.
You could also try left clicking on the game launcher itself and hit troubleshoot compatibility. exit and then set sound to your tv and run again. basicly each time you have to first run the game with something else set to default device. This is some weird bug but it works for me when i play guitar hero 3. You' have to do this each time so for example if you get it to work and then exit the game and simply start it again it wont work. The once again exit through game settingsĦ)go to playback and set default device back to your tvħ)start game it should work for sure this time. the sound should at this point still not be coming from your TV. FIX: it seems Mr TehNoms was having a different issue i guess?
